About Baselift

Baselift is both a new business term and a learning and consulting company for SMEs.

A new business term

Baselift is the opposite of a facelift.
A facelift changes how something looks. A baselift goes deeper — transforming how a business, product, or service creates value instead of merely changing its appearance.

A learning platform for SME.

Baselift is a learning and consulting company helping small and midsize businesses use design, branding, and innovation as drivers of differentiation.

Who is behind Baselift ?

Baselift, founded and led by Stefan Hermann, is a collective of entrepreneurially minded strategists and top-tier freelance designers.

Hi, I am Stefan Hermann

Founder of Baselift

For more than a decade, I designed products and experiences for leading agencies and companies of nearly every size.

Along the way, I noticed something: successful large brands use design and branding fundamentally differently. Not as decoration. Not as an afterthought. But as tools for creating value and meaningful differentiation.

This allows them to attract better customers, charge higher prices, and build stronger businesses.

Small and midsize companies rarely work this way. Not because they don’t care, but because they often lack the knowledge, structure, and tools to make it happen.

I believe they deserve access to the same strategic capabilities. That’s why I founded Baselift — and developed Experience-Driven Value Creation.

Our Vision

An economy led by honourable entrepreneurs.

The honourable entrepreneurs

Honourable entrepreneurs believe that how you succeed matters as much as succeeding itself. They act with integrity, honesty and a sense of responsibility to society. They value long-term, sustainable success over short-term profit, based on ethical behaviour, trustworthiness and fair dealings with all stakeholders.

Support the worthy

Companies shape the future we all live in. Almost everything around us — the products we use, the places we work, the services we rely on — is the result of someone’s economic ambition.

Businesses affect countless lives. Their customers. Their employees. Their communities. Their industries. And sometimes the world far beyond them.

That means every hour we spend helping a business succeed is also an hour spent helping shape a particular future.

We take that responsibility seriously.

That is why we actively choose to support companies that, in our view, make the world a better place.
