How it works

The regular animation process consists of 6 steps. Here is a quick overview:

Step 1: Concept Creation

It all starts with defining the overall idea and look. This can be done by capturing the mood with a few images or by collecting sample videos.

Step 2: Storyboarding

A storyboard is a graphic representation of how your video will unfold, shot by shot. It’s made up of a series of sketches or images representing each shot, with notes about what’s happening in the scene.

Step 3: 2D and 3D Modelling

Depending on the complexity of the project, many assets may need to be created (CAD models, graphics, scenarios, etc.) .

Step 4: Roughs

Next, a low-detail pre-visualisation is created to test and refine ideas.

Step 5: Animation & Rendering

When all the scenes, settings and animations are correct, the high-detail animation is rendered.

Step 6: Post Production

Lastly, the animation is polished. This involves adding sounds, music, typography, graphics and effects.
